Company Management, Sales & Team Building

Novator Coaching · Marina del Rey, CA

This comprehensive coaching program addresses the three pillars of business performance — management effectiveness, sales leadership, and team cohesion. Whether you need to develop individual managers, improve your sales culture, or build a team that performs as a unit, Novator Coaching provides structured development programs tailored to your specific challenges.

Company management coaching

Develop managers who lead, not just manage. Coaching focuses on strategic thinking, decision-making, delegation, performance management, and creating accountability structures that drive results. Whether you are a first-time manager or a seasoned executive, management coaching develops the specific skills your role demands. Use the Leadership Assessment to identify development areas.

Sales team coaching

Sales performance is a leadership issue, not just a skills issue. Coaching develops sales leaders who can build pipeline discipline, coach their own teams, handle objections with emotional intelligence, and create a high-performance sales culture. This includes developing communication skills for high-stakes client conversations and negotiations.

Team building

High-performing teams do not happen by accident. Team building coaching develops the five dimensions of team health: Communication, Trust, Accountability, Alignment, and Engagement. Take the Team Health Check to diagnose which dimension needs the most attention, then build a targeted development plan.

Integrated programs

For companies that need all three — management development, sales coaching, and team building — Novator offers integrated programs that combine individual coaching, team sessions, and organizational development into a cohesive engagement.

Why sales teams need different leadership

Sales leadership is frequently treated as general management applied to a revenue target, which is why so much of it goes wrong. Sales teams differ in ways that matter: performance is individually visible and constantly measured, rejection is a daily feature of the work, and compensation is directly tied to outcomes in a way it is not for most functions.

Those conditions change what leadership has to supply. Motivation is less about inspiration and more about maintaining belief through a bad quarter. Feedback has to be frequent enough to be useful and specific enough to be actionable, in a role where the outcome data arrives with a lag and is noisy. And the strongest individual seller is very often the wrong person to promote to lead the team, because the skills barely overlap.

Building a team rather than a group of individuals

The default state of a sales floor is a set of individuals optimising their own numbers, which is efficient in the short term and fragile over time. Knowledge does not transfer, a departure takes the accounts with it, and nobody helps anybody.

Moving from that to a team requires structural change, not encouragement. What is measured and rewarded has to include something collective. Deal reviews have to be genuinely blameless or people stop bringing the deals that are going badly, which are the only ones worth reviewing. And the strongest performers have to be given a reason to teach, because most will not do it for its own sake.

Management coaching for the leadership layer

Where the engagement covers a management team, the work usually addresses three recurring issues: managers who are still doing the individual contributor job alongside the management one, decisions that get made twice because ownership is unclear, and a leadership group that agrees in the room and diverges outside it.

That last one is the most expensive and the least discussed. A leadership team that cannot disagree in the meeting will relitigate the decision through their teams for the following month, and the organization reads the inconsistency accurately as a lack of alignment.

Formats

Work runs as one-to-one coaching for individual leaders, as facilitated sessions with an intact team, or as a combination — individual conversations first, so issues can surface safely, then the team session where they are addressed with everyone present.

Sessions are available on site across Los Angeles or remotely. Related: team building and team coaching, leadership coaching, and how to motivate a team without micromanaging.
